Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

• Account: Name and email via Sign in with Apple (iOS) or email authentication (web)
• Workouts: Completion records, scores, RPE ratings, and notes you enter
• Preferences: Equipment level, fitness level, timezone, unit system
• Health data (optional, iOS only): With your permission, we read heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, and sleep data from Apple Health to personalize training recommendations. We never write to Apple Health.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

Science Fitness requests read-only access to Apple Health data. This data is used solely to provide wellness-aware training recommendations within the app. Health data is processed on your device and is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. You can revoke access at any time in Settings > Health > Data Access.

Third-Party Services

• Apple - Sign in with Apple authentication, App Store payments (iOS)
• RevenueCat - In-app purchase and subscription management
• Stripe - Payment processing for web users (we don't store card numbers)
• Cloudflare - Hosting, CDN, and database

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell your data to anyone
• We don't serve ads or use ad tracking
• We don't track you across other websites or apps
• We don't share your health data with third parties

Data Retention

Your workout history and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. Health data from Apple Health is processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.

Sign Out & Delete Your Data

You can sign out at any time from Settings in the app. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, use the Delete Account option in Settings. Deletion is immediate on your device and completed on our servers within 48 hours. You can also email support@sciencefitness.app.
